Manchester City's Social Media Team Didn't Have Their Best Night

Manchester City players weren't the only ones having a bit of an embarrassing night. Manuel Pellegrini's side lost 3-0 to Liverpool just days after beating the Reds on penalties in the Capital One Cup final but their social media team kind of put their foot in it before kick-off...

City were really poor on a night when Spurs and Arsenal also lost and failed to make up ground on league leaders Leicester City who dropped points against West Brom last night.

But after Liverpool easily stopped the likes of Sergio Aguero from scoring City's social media team will be holding their heads in their hands after an earlier post suggested the only way Jurgen Klopp's side could keep City's strikers out was by removing the goals, oops!

And it seems their fans weren't hopeful after the post, it's clearly all the social media teams fault they lost..

They'll be hoping Pep won't be bringing his own social media team in the summer!
