Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No it's Infinite Tucker and he's the human version of Superman.

Tucker, who might just have the greatest name in sport, was taking part in the 400m hurdle final at the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Track and Field Championships in America when he quickly became an online sensation.

So here goes; Tucker was neck and neck with fellow athlete Robert Grant in the final stages of the race when he decided to get over the line in the most unconventional of ways.

I mean, athletes are known for doing whatever it takes to win, but to literally launch yourself full Superman-style has taken the 'put your body on the line' saying to new levels.

If only everyone was as dedicated to winning as Infinite Tucker. Just look at that spring...and that face plant!

After the race, he revealed what inspired him to Superman jump his way to victory:

"I closed my eyes over hurdle 10. I opened it, saw my ma at the finish, and I jumped to give her a hug." he told ESPN.

"I just gave it my all and I felt like diving to the finish was me using my whole body. I just gave it my all that race."

Tucker's opponent, Robert Grant, on the other hand was far from pleased with the way it ended:

"If I say what I thought on this camera, microphone right now, Coach (Pat) Henry would kick me off the team." he said after the race.

All we know is, the clip quickly turned into a meme, with many commentating on his unbelievable dedication.

It doesn't take X-Ray vision to see this guy is good. After all, there is a superhero in all of us, we just need the courage to put on the cape.
