Jake Paul's current weight ahead of his fight against Mike Tyson will stun fans

Jake Paul's current weight ahead of his fight against Mike Tyson will stun fans

Jake Paul's coach has revealed his weight ahead of his fight against Mike Tyson.

Jake Paul's current weight ahead of his monster fight against Mike Tyson has been revealed.

Paul, who scored a big win over Ryan Bourland last month, returns to action on July 20 when he welcomes Tyson back to the ring.

Their exhibition bout is set for July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and will be aired on Netflix.

It will be the 57-year-old's first appearance since his showdown against fellow icon Roy Jones Jr back in November 2020.

Paul, meanwhile, will step up to the heavyweight division, having campaigned at cruiserweight.

Of course, 'Iron' Mike spent his whole career at heavyweight and weighed in at 220lbs for his last bout.

As it stands, 'The Problem Child' weighs MORE than what Tyson came in for against Jones Jr.

According to Shane Mosley, the 27-year-old currently weighs 230lbs.

"I just saw Jake yesterday, he’s 230 pounds," he revealed. "He’s big, really big. He said he feels as fast as he does at 185."

Paul, who tipped the scales at 199.8lbs for his last fight, could enter the ring against Tyson as the bigger man in what would be a huge shock.

The YouTuber-turned-fighter is back training with boxing legend following their split.

He re-partnered with Mosley for his fight against Nate Diaz and the former world champion boxer is likely to be in his corner against Tyson.

"We had originally worked together for my first professional fight but he was super busy after that," Paul explained. "When I lost, I went back to the drawing board and re-evaluated everyone in my team.

"I wanted to bring back some of the people I had originally worked with, it's been an amazing camp, he's been in this camp the whole entire time and has been very helpful."

Mosley added: "We're trying to transform him into someone that can challenge for a world title or win a title at cruiserweight one day. But he needs to learn the proper stuff, because he started late, like Deontay Wilder.

"He is athletic but we need to mould him into a top fighter. He needs to beat Tommy first, but that's the way we want to go. I want him to really understand what's happening in the ring."
