It's another fun-filled boxing weekend with British titles, final eliminators and world honours all on the line here at home and across the pond.

Top names are back in action this weekend, and you've come to the right to place for your comprehensive boxing guide.

Here's TheSPORTbible's rundown of some of the fights this weekend:

Adonis Stevenson vs. Thomas Williams Jr.

When: Friday 29th July

Where: TBC

Bit of preemptive boxing before the bills home and away commence as Adonis Stevenson makes his seventh defence of his WBC crown in Canada on Friday night. The Haitian native has made Montreal, Quebec, home and stomping ground having captured as well as making his world title defences in the city. The bout we are all hoping for is the light-heavyweight unification with Kovalev but it's becoming yet another casualty in the gloomy politics of the sport.

Stevenson should have too much for the modest Williams Jr. unless you're his promoter Yvon Michel, who is worried about the threat of the challenger but it's just hyperbole to get fans tuning in. Despite the actual validity of the fight, it's another outing for the ferocious puncher. Expect Stevenson to find a home for his power shots before eventually putting him away.

Dillian Whyte vs. Dave Allen

When: Saturday 30th July

Where: Sky Sports 1

After engaging in heated Twitter exchanges, the pair not only battle for the WBC International Heavyweight title but more importantly bragging rights. Whyte boasts the more experience who's issued a chilling message as he's intent on punishing the Yorkshireman, despite Allen's inexperience having just amassed 10 professional bouts his youthful exuberance and raw potential isn't to be overlooked.

The Brixton-boxer is continuing his quest to the top following his defeat to Anthony Joshua though remains hellbent on a rematch. The UK heavyweight scene is red hot and thriving with an array of talent in the picture, and the winner of this fight, let's be honest, probably Whyte, could set up further domestic clashes. Chisora vs. Whyte would be tasty.

Luke Campbell vs. Argenis Mendez

When: Saturday 30th July

Where: Sky Sports 1

Luke Campbell seemed destined to be fast tracked to a world title before a defeat to Yvan Mendy derailed such plans. The Olympic gold medalist suffered his first professional defeat as he faces his stiffest competition since turning professional taking on former world champion Argenis Mendez.

The Dominican is coming off a loss but is a live opponent who enjoys a significant professional experience over his counter-part. If Campbell has any aspirations of fighting for world glory a victory is must, but his ability coupled with the 'wounded animal' tag should provide enough motivation to get the job done.

Mikey Garcia vs. Elio Rojas

When: Sunday 30th July

Where: Box Nation

The forgotten man Mikey Garcia makes his anticipated return before Santa Cruz and Frampton lock horns. He's been out of the ring since January of 2014 finding himself embroiled in a dispute with his now former promotion Top Rank. After giving up two years of his prime, the 28-year-old still has his whole career in front of him, and could yet prove to be a pound-for-pound great he was destined to be, even though he boasts the WBO feather and super featherweight titles.

With his legendary coach and brother, Robert, by his side the talented former world champion is still bound for greatness as he returns to action against Elio Rojas, while already eyeing up a potential showdown with Manchester's Terry Flanagan. This is merely a showcase fight to shake-off any ring rust as he inevitably emerges as a future title contender.

Leo Santa Cruz vs. Carl Frampton

When: Sunday 30th July

Where: Box Nation

In the early hours of Sunday morning in the States, Frampton embarks on becoming a two-weight world champion following his shut-out over domestic rival Scott Quigg, moving up to featherweight to challenge Mexican stud Leo Santa Cruz while wanting to reclaim the title his promoter, Barry McGuigan, lost back in 1986.

The pair of fighters fast hands, slick boxing ability makes for a compelling fight yet it'll be Santa Cruz who enjoys the considerable height and reach advantage. Frampton carries the power as his foe will look to pepper him from the outside with his polished-jab. Either way, their styles should gel for a intriguing clash making it a genuine pick-em' fight.

The 'Jackal's' American bow didn't go to plan after getting dropped in the very first but fought through the adversity eventually successfully defending his title, though will obviously have to display a better performance heading to New York with an army of fans expected as they back one of their own.
