Floyd Mayweather threatened by mob boss' family following controversial fight

The fallout of the all-out brawl has seen Gotti’s sister Nicolette, allegedly threaten Mayweather’s daughter.

Floyd Mayweather has been threatened by the family of John Gotti III following the chaotic end to their exhibition fight.

The 50-0 boxing legend took on the son of one of America’s most notorious mobsters, Gotti III, who had previously boxed twice.

During the fight inside the FLA Live Arena in Florida, Mayweather started well as he fired big shots at Gotti.

However, in the sixth round, referee Kenny Bayliss stopped the fight, a decision which led to absolute cranage as Gotti was clearly unhappy with the call.

Gotti continued to chase Mayweather around the ring and looked to hit the legendary boxer. This led to the ring being packed with team members from both sides.

The fallout of the all-out brawl has seen Gotti’s sister Nicolette, allegedly threaten Mayweather’s daughter, according to the NY Post.

In screenshots shared by former Bartstool personality Jeff Nadu, Nicolette went on a foul-mouthed rant on her Instagram stories.

She allegedly wrote: “@floydmayweather your daughter was ran through by [an] animal with 12 different baby mamas – your little circus animal – [you’re] all a pack of zoo animals.

“I swear on my kids I’m coming for your daughter, it may be 2 years, 3 years from now but I’m coming c***.”

Nicolette’s Instagram has since been deactivated.

Nicolette and Gotti III’s grandfather, John Gotti, was the boss of the Gambino crime family from 1986-91.

Their father also served as the acting boss of the mob family when Gotti Sr. was in prison.

The whole boxing event turned into chaos following the controversial ending.

Fans began throwing punches at each other within the crowd while backstage, a number of fighters and musicians were also involved in the action.

Eventually, the arena was cleared by police who threatened to charge anyone who did not leave immediately.

Fans were quick to react on social media.

One said: “Mayweather wasn’t fussed he landed a nice check left hook to wobble him.”

Another tweeted: “Still pretty embarrassing for Floyd that he can't KO any of these bums he fights.”

A third fan added: “This is absolutely chaotic goodness me.”

Someone else wrote: “Another day another easy Floyd W. Even 50 guys can’t stop him hahaha.”
