British boxing is in a pretty healthy place right now and in the next couple of months, starting with a heavyweight tear up in just over 10 days, they'll be some massive fights on these shores with potentially one more for Amir Khan.

In 11 days time David Haye and Tony Bellew square off at the O2 in London in what will likely be the end of a rather heated rivalry between the pair.

However that fight isn't even the biggest in the heavyweight division as at the end of April Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko will fight in front of 90,000 at Wembley, sorry Carl, for the world heavyweight title.

And now, according to The Times, Amir Khan could be set for his own superfight as a fight with Manny Pacquiao is reportedly agreed.

The newspaper claims that no contract has been signed but the bout has been agreed verbally and will take place in the UK with Bolton's Macron Stadium and the Manchester Arena both ready to stage the fight.

Many in British boxing were hoping that Khan and long time domestic verbal sparring partner Kell Brook would finally clash but Brook is now facing Errol Spence.

Former Olympian Khan has been chasing the biggest fights for the last few years often speaking about Pacquiao, who used to be his stable mate under Freddie Roach, and Floyd Mayweather.

The Brit has lost three of his last eight fights, with two by KO, including his most recent fight with Saul Canelo at middleweight last May.

Pacquiao is due to face Jeff Horn in Australia on April 23rd but these new reports but that bout in doubt. The Filipino last fought Jessie Vargas in November and won but has similarly lost three of his last eight fights.
