For the second time this year Tyson Fury's rematch with Wladimir Klitschko for the world heavyweight title in Manchester is off. Once again it is due to an injury to the world champion, who should defending his belt in October.

Fury beat Klitschko in Germany last year on points and after dropping the IBF belt almost immediately he was due to defend his remaining two belts in July but suffered an ankle injury. The rematch was then rescheduled for October 29th but the match is once again off.

This time it is due to Fury suffering from a set back in training. According to the Mirror the champions team told Klitschko's camp earlier today but have so far been unavailable to make a comment to the media.

The Mancunian heavyweight is currently at the centre of a UK Anti-Doping probe and is set to face questioning before his next fight as it was supposed to be scheduled after the October date.

It means that the WBA and WBO titles are likely to have gone undefended for over a year which will not please those organisations and they could chose to strip Fury of the titles.

At the latest press conference between the pair the controversial Brit was absent due to his car breaking a down. An excuse the Ukrainian didn't take too seriously.
