Floyd Mayweather Has Just Officially Ended Conor McGregor

Floyd Mayweather Has Just Officially Ended Conor McGregor

They don't call him 'Money' for nothing!

There's lots of talk about whether or not Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor will meet inside a boxing ring at any point. After an offer of $25 million the man known as 'Money' has been on a bit of an insult rampage and again he's targetted the Irishman.

Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor better get it on in the ring after this all out war in the media and on social media. But unlike waiting eight years for the boxer to fight Manny Pacquiao I'm just not convinced this one will ever happen.

For some reason that I can't remember people are suggesting that the biggest draw in boxing, despite being retired for over a year, and the biggest draw in UFC, now that everyone thinks Ronda Rousey is a fraud, should have a fight and have been trading barbs as if it could ever happen.

UFC president Dana White recently added fuel to the fire by offering Mayweather $25 million to come out of retirement to face the Irishman but the American wasn't too impressed revealing he's not earned less than $32 million for the last 10 years.

Now the man who is 49-0 inside the ring has taken another shot on social media at McGregor suggesting that he doesn't have that kind of money to be offering:

Mayweather has made it pretty well known that he finds the offer of $25 million derisory.

In an interview recently he talked about White only being an 'employee' of UFC, essentially said he doesn't get out of bed for anything less than $100 million and talked about when the UFC president used to carry his bags:

Mayweather is brutally taking shots at McGregor and anyone connected with him whenever he can.

If the unbeaten boxer won't come out of retirement for a match that could make him a lot of money and should be a pretty easy victory then you feel like he'll never reach the magic 50 mark.

Will the fight ever happen?
