Tyson Fury Eyes Mega-Fight As He Plots His Return To Boxing

2017 already has some monster fights in store literally and figuratively. Two huge heavyweight clashes are penciled in with the return of Tyson Fury also on the cards.

And if Team Fury have their way, the fight will only add to the bevy of massive bouts in the heavyweight division.

David Haye and Tony Bellew will finally trade blows (officially) on March 4th not to mention a huge unification clash pitting Anthony Joshua vs. Wladimir Klitschko from Wembley Stadium on April 29th.

As well as those super-fights, another could be on the horizon in Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury.

The former unified heavyweight champion endured a nightmare 2016 following dethroning Klitschko on home turf. Though the self-proclaimed 'Gypsy King' is set to return to the ring in 2017 issuing a defiant message to the division.

Following a drug scandal and mental health problems, Fury relinquished his titles prompting his short-lived retirement.

But as he plots a return to the squared circle alongside uncle and trainer Peter Fury, the pair are already mapping out next year with a mega-fight against American KO-artist Wilder on top of their wish list;

"I'd like to see Tyson fight Wilder. I think that's a massive fight across the pond. I think that would turn into a super-fight. That's a fight we want anyway." Peter Fury said.

Wilder is the WBC belt-holder and owns an impressive 37-0 record with a whopping 36 stoppages. We're praying this fight materialises.
