Anthony Joshua has finally spoken about Tyson Fury's win over Tom Schwarz at the weekend, first congratulating his rival and then questioning the quality of his opponent.

On Saturday night Tyson Fury did what heavyweight rival Anthony Joshua couldn't do a week prior and beat the underdog that he was facing in the ring to keep hold of his undefeated record.

AJ loss to Andy Ruiz Jr shook the heavyweight division but Fury's win at the weekend against Tom Schwarz kept him still on the road to a rematch with Deontay Wilder.

Almost as soon as Joshua lost Fury was ready to react but the 2012 Olympic champion has taken slightly longer, though he now has on Instagram live.

Speaking on social media the former heavyweight champion said, "Thoughts on Tyson Fury's win? He done what he had to. I could talk s*** but he done what he had to, well played to him."

AJ then spoke about the quality of Schwarz, adding, "I wanna go back to fighting some easy opponents. 56th [Schwarz ranking]. I think, why am out here doing all this s*** myself? D'ya know what I mean?"

Fury fought Wilder to a draw last December and the rematch was expected to take place before Wilder announced he was fighting Dominic Breazeale and Fury took on Schwarz.

AJ was meant to be taking on Jarrell 'Baby' Miller but the American withdrew after a failed drugs test and was replaced by Ruiz.

After beating the German on the weekend Fury's next fight will be later this year, whilst Wilder takes on Luis Ortiz for the second time, if both men get through those fights then they will face each other at the beginning of 2020.

Joshua meanwhile will have a rematch with Ruiz Jr at the end of the year as he tries to recapture his three versions of the world heavyweight title.
