Raheem Sterling, England fans and the BBC will all be hoping that Raheem Sterling does actually score against Italy on Sunday, unlike last time the two side's met in a major tournament.
England and Italy face in the biggest game in English football since the World Cup final in 1966 when they meet in the Euro 2020 final.

The last time the two sides faced in a tournament it was the group stages and England fans had what can only be described as misplaced hope.
It was the opening game of the Three Lion's latest World Cup campaign in 2014 and it looked like it started in the greatest way imaginable.
At 0-0 with just three minutes on the clock Raheem Sterling let rip from outside the area for one of the greatest World Cup goals ever scored. That's what literally everyone thought when the goal rippled, in fact even the BBC showed the 'goal' graphic and yet it hadn't gone in.
There wasn't a single one of us who didn't jump for joy but alas Sterling hadn't actually scored:
Pretty much every England fan up and down the country can remember springing to their feet on what was a very warm Saturday afternoon over here.

Of course in Manaus, Roy Hodgson's side would go on to lose the game 2-1 and eventually went out of the group stages after a loss to Uruguay in the second game.
By the time they drew 0-0 with Costa Rica in the final game of the groups they were already out, and Sterling's supposed goal was a long lost memory.
Sterling has been an extremely important part of England's run to the final on Sunday, and has scored three times for Gareth Southgate's team.

He also won the all important, and extremely controversial, penalty that led to the Three Lions defeating Denmark in Wednesday's semi-final.
Fans will be hoping that next time he has a shot against Italy in a major tournament it does actually go into the goal.
You can bet no one from BBC will be hitting their goal graphic too soon...
