Goal Of The Day: Jack Wilshere Finishes Off Beautiful Team Move

Brilliant goal.

There are several types of brilliant goal. You might love a bending free kick or an absolute howitzer from long range or possibly even a one man mission to run through an entire team. Sometimes there's nothing more beautiful than a team goal and this by Arsenal might be the best example.

In October 2013 Arsenal were riding high at the top of the Premier League, ahead of title rivals Chelsea by two points. To prove things don't always change Sunderland were stuck in the usual position of 20th, although that season they only had one point compared to this season's two.

Norwich rocked up to the Emirates with little chance of victory. The Canaries had finished a very respectable 11th the season before but headed to North London in the relegation zone with only seven points from their opening seven games.

Despite Arsenal not playing to their best in the opening 15 minutes and looking lethargic after an international break it didn't take them too long to take the lead and what a goal. The move started around the halfway line and after some slick passing and movement Jack Wilshere finished off a beautiful team move with a tidy finish:

Arsenal never really looked back at that point Mesut Ozil scored around the hour mark to make it 2-0. Jonny Howson pulled one back to hint at a comeback but instead Aaron Ramsey added his own brilliant finish before Ozil's second two minutes from time added the flourish.

But it was Wilshere's goal that stole the headlines!
