José Mourinho Spotted On A Manchester United Scouting Mission For Lazio Ace

José Mourinho might have been able to hold his head high after Manchester United's superb comeback against Newcastle United last week, but that doesn't mean he's going to have a bit of time off as he looks ahead to the rest of the season.

While the Red Devils have reportedly made a "dizzying offer" to Atlético Madrid for Lucas Hernández, the Special One has been on a scouting mission during the international break.

The United boss was spotted in the crowd during Serbia's 2-0 win against Montenegro in their UEFA Nations League match.

According to Sky Sports, Mourinho had his eye on Sergej Milinković-Savić.

The 23-year-old Lazio ace has been a long-term target for the club and the former Chelsea manager could make a move for him in the January transfer window.

He came off the bench in the second-half for Serbia to set up an assist for Aleksandar Mitrović.

The Serbian moved from Genk to Lazio in 2015 and has made over 100 appearances for the Italian club.

However, the midfielder might have a hefty price tag on any potential transfer after he signed new deal with his current side earlier this month.

Mourinho has experienced a difficult start to his third season at United, with the club in eighth place after their first eight matches.
