A deal between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United could be stuck this week for the services of Toby Alderweireld.
The Belgium international has been linked with a move away from north London this summer, with the Red Devils one of the clubs looking to make a move for the defender.
Jose Mourinho is looking for a first-choice centre-back, with Leicester City's Harry Maguire mooted as another viable option, after the defender had a superb campaign with England in the World Cup.
But Marca are saying that it's Alderweireld who is looking like the likely figure to come to Old Trafford this summer window.
The fee that is being reported is around £50 million, a figure which would likely be agreeable to both parties.
Spurs have been quiet in the transfer window and would ideally like to strengthen their centre-back place if Alderweireld makes the move to Manchester.
The defender has a contract until 2019 with an option of another year but you just get feeling that this one could have legs.
