Thierry Henry had the coldest response when asked to predict his Champions League winners

Henry wasn't messing around.

Thierry Henry gave an incredibly cold response when asked to predict who will win the UEFA Champions League.

The Champions League is seriously hotting up, with the quarter-finals of the competitions throwing up some mouth-watering ties.

On Tuesday Arsenal and Manchester City kicked things off with first leg matches against Bayern Munich and Real Madrid respectively.

24 hours later Paris Saint-Germain will take on Barcelona while Atletico Madrid host Borussia Dortmund.

Predicting Champions League knockout ties is a fool's game, but that doesn't stop fans and pundits alike from giving it a go.

During CBS' build-up to Arsenal's home match against Bayern, former Gunners striker Thierry Henry was asked to predict who will make it through to the semi-finals, then the final, and who will be crowned champions of Europe.

Henry has never hidden his affection for his former club, but to his credit he has never let that cloud his analysis and punditry work.

However, on this occasion, he well and truly nailed his colours to the mast with a cold answer.

Instead of picking who would progress from each round, he went straight for the winner.

"Me, I ONLY care about Arsenal, because they are in [the competition], so I’m going to go straight with the champion — The Arsenal," Henry said.

"Bye, see you later."

Arsenal are featuring in the quarter-finals of the competition for the first time since 2010.

After facing Bayern on Tuesday night, Arsenal will travel to Munich for the return leg on Wednesday, April 17.

If Mikel Arteta's side see off the Bundesliga giants over two legs, then they will face a two-legged semi-final against either Real Madrid or Manchester City.

The first leg of the semi-final will be played April 30 or May 1, with the second leg on May 7 or 8.
