Thiago Silva's wife posts damning message after Chelsea are destroyed 5-0 by Arsenal

Thiago Silva's wife posts damning message after Chelsea are destroyed 5-0 by Arsenal

Thiago Silva's wife took to social media following Chelsea's defeat at Arsenal.

Thiago Silva's wife made their feelings clear on social media following Chelsea's crushing 5-0 defeat against Arsenal.

Chelsea succumbed to Arsenal, who ran out five-nil winners at the Emirates on Tuesday.

Kai Havertz scored a brace against his old side as everyone noticed how Chelsea's official X account reacted to his goals.

Leandro Trossard and Ben White (x2) also scored for the Gunners as they move three points clear of second-placed Liverpool and four points ahead of third-placed Manchester City, who have two games in hand over Mikel Arteta's outfit.

As for Chelsea, they stay in ninth place, having lost their 11th league game of the season.

After the match, Silva's wife took to social media to react to the Blues' humiliating defeat in North London.

She posted a 'see-no-evil monkey', 'speak-no-evil monkey' and 'hear-no-evil monkey' emojis in a damning assessment.

It's not the first time Belle Silva has taken to social media to react to a Chelsea defeat.

She appeared to hit out at manager Mauricio Pochettino earlier in the season.

The veteran defender did not start the game, but he entered the fray with his side trailing by five goals.

The 39-year-old has made 33 appearances in all competitions this campaign and is set to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season when his contract expires.

Speaking after the result, Pochettino bemoaned the way his team started in each half.

"We started each half with low energy, and then when we conceded the third goal it was so easy for Arsenal," he said. "Like against Manchester City, we created chances and weren't clinical. It's not nice to see your team to play like this."

Chelsea resume their faltering league campaign on Saturday when they face Unai Emery's Aston Villa.
