Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal’s stats have been compared and there is a clear winner.
Despite leading the way for the majority of last season, Arsenal were eventually overhauled by Pep Guardiola’s rampant City side as they clinched another Premier League title.
This season, the pair have been joined by a rejuvenated Liverpool side, led by Jurgen Klopp.

The Reds have had a brilliant start to the season and would have been given extra motivation by the fact that Klopp is due to depart at the end of the campaign.
Currently, Liverpool sit top with 63 points, followed by City on 62 and Arsenal on 61. This is billing up to be one of the tightest Premier League title races in history.
As the race between the three best teams in the land hots up, their stats have been compared.

According to Squawka, Arsenal have been the best team this season with an Opta Performance Index of 1058. They are closely followed by City with 1055 and then Liverpool with 1045.
The Gunners have scored the most goals, having netted 68 times, which is four more than Liverpool and six more than reigning champions City.
Arsenal are averaging 2.58 goals per 90 minutes, which is superior when compared to Liverpool’s 2.37 and City’s 2.30.
Defensively, Mikel Arteta’s men also come out on top, they have the most clean sheets(11) and have also conceded the least amount of goals(23).

Arsenal are conceding an average of 0.83 goals per 90, Liverpool are next with 0.93 and then City with 1.00.
Speaking after their 6-0 thrashing of Sheffield United, Arteta urged his players to continue their fine form.
He said: “The players, the form they're in, they're confident, the chemistry, the determination that they are showing in every ball.

“They want more and they still believe that they can improve because we can improve in certain things and it's important that we maintain that.”
He added: "Without looking at the numbers it's probably the best that we've been but it has to be at the end of the season and we are focused on that…”
