Luis Suarez had his boot stolen and thrown off the pitch in Gremio's 3-0 win over Cruzeiro yesterday.
The Uruguayan signed a two-year contract with the Brazilian side in December 2022 and has scored 16 goals in 36 games.
The former Liverpool and Barcelona striker was heavily linked with a reunion with Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba at Inter Miami but ultimately stayed put.

His contract has been shortened until 2023 because of serious knee troubles but Suarez is still doing the business and was on target in the victory at Arena do Gremio.
He's not changed in the slightest and was up to his usual tricks in his latest outing. At the end of the first half, with Gremio leading, Suarez went down on the touchline and dramatically flicked off his boot after it was close to coming off.
The 36-year-old was screaming at the referee but then has protests escalated minutes after when left-back Marlon Xavier did no less than pick up his boot and chucked it off the pitch.

Suarez was straight over to the referee and pointing at the former Trabzonspor man, who was left absolutely furious after being shown a yellow card for his antics.
Felipe Carballo doubled Gremio's lead in the 54th minute before Pepe sealed the win. Gremio are currently third in the Brazilian Serie A in what will be Suarez's final season with the club.
“I feel that next year I will not be able to perform due to my fitness and the high demands of the Brazilian championship which is why the club and I have spoken about ending my contract (with Gremio) a year early,” Suarez said in July.

“I don’t know if I’ll continue to play somewhere else because I have a chronic issue with my knee that you all know about.
“I’d ask Gremio supporters to value the fact that they have a 37-year-old player who always plays despite having a lot of pain in his knee. That’s all I ask."
