The Manchester United star has responded

Alejandro Garnacho has responded to a Manchester City fan who tried to troll him in his Instagram DMs.

Last season, Garnacho was part of the Manchester United team that lost the FA Cup final at Wembley against their bitter rivals City.

Ilkay Gundogan scored twice to seal a 2-1 win for Pep Guardiola’s men.

After the final whistle, a visibly dejected Garnacho was seen sitting on the turf as City celebrated their win.

Recently, one City fan posted on social media that he sent Garnacho pictures of Gundogan’s goal from the final, the Argentine’s full-time reaction and the City side lifting the trophy.

The City fan said: “Garnacho responds, it’s so good, it is so good.

“Not only have I interrupted his day and sent him Gundo scoring, him crying at Wembley, City win the FA Cup, it gets better he’s come back crying his eyes out.”

The apparent message the fan received from Garnacho said: “No bro not cool, maybe you should learn your respect and not send me things like this.”

The clip has since gone viral on social media, with one United fan responding with: “During the time you took to make this tiktok he has made your daily wage 3x over.”

Reacting to that tweet, Garnacho simply replied with two crying laughter emojis.

Garnacho will be gearing himself up for United’s FA Cup third-round tie against Wigan, which will be played on Monday night.

Ahead of the match, manager Erik ten Hag said: “So in the cup is always about do or die and you have to be ready. An opponent will be always 100 per cent when they play against Manchester United, but especially when they play in the FA Cup against Manchester United.

“So we have to be ready to face them, be well prepared. So we have the expectations that every game we have to win.”
