The one Man Utd player who commented on Jadon Sancho's Champions League final post on Instagram

Only one Manchester United star has commented on Jadon Sancho's Instagram post after Borussia Dortmund qualified for the Champions League final.

On Tuesday evening Borussia Dortmund produced one of the shocks of the season by beating Paris Saint-Germain to reach the final of the Champions League.

Dortmund narrowly won the first leg of their semi-final in Germany last week, before claiming another 1-0 win in Paris to secure a 2-0 aggregate victory.

Reaching the final at Wembley is some achievement for a side who are currently fifth in the Bundesliga table following a season of inconsistent performances.

It is arguably an even greater achievement for Jadon Sancho, considering the position he found himself in earlier in the season.

The 24-year-old winger left Dortmund for Man United in a £73 million move in 2021, but after two mixed seasons he was frozen out of the first team squad following a falling out with manager Erik ten Hag.

Sancho publicly hit out at Ten hag after the Dutch coach left him out of United's trip to Arsenal in September 2023 and told reporters that the Englishman hadn't trained well.

After months training with United's youth teams, Sancho returned to Dortmund in January on loan until the end of the season.

On Tuesday evening Sancho posted on Instagram a photo of him celebrating with the caption: "Champions League final!! Wow wow wow, unbelievable @BVB09. WEMBLEY HERE WE COME!"

Plenty of star players sent Sancho their congratulations, but only one of Sancho's United' club-mates commented on the post.

United captain Bruno Fernandes commented three clapping emojis, but none of his teammates followed suit.

Kobbie Mainoo, Lisandro Martinez, Antony and Sofyan Amrabat all 'liked' the post, but didn't comment.

Dortmund would like to keep Sancho beyond the end of the season, but are unlikely to be able to afford to make the move permanent.

Sancho and Dortmund will take on either Bayern Munich or Real Madrid in the Champions League final on June 1 at Wembley Stadium.
