Scott McTominay scores TWO goals in stoppage time to secure huge win for Man United against Brentford

Scott McTominay produced a heroic performance.

Scott McTominay bagged a dramatic brace as Manchester United secured a huge come-from-behind victory over Brentford.

McTominay, who entered the fray in the 87th minute, cancelled out Mathias Jensen's opener, having been gifted a goal by Andre Onana.

Diogo Dalot's strike was parried by goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha, with Brentford's defence failing to properly clear the ball.

The ball fell to McTominay, who controlled it before slotting the ball into the bottom corner in the 93rd minute.

Man United then scored the winner from a set-piece as Bruno Fernandes lofted a ball into the box, which was met by Harry Maguire, who headed it into the goal mouth, where McTominay headed home.

The 97th minute goal sees Man United beat Brentford 2-1 as they occupy ninth place in the table.

Speaking after the result, the Scotland international said: "I been brought up at this club ever since I was 5 years old. I know the feeling of never being allowed to give up better than anyone.

"When you are not doing well at this football club, everyone is against you. It feels like we are in our own bubble with the rest of the world saying negative things."

Man United's victory over Brentford also snaps a two-game losing skid, having lost to Crystal Palace in the league and Galatasaray in the Champions League.

It's also a much-needed win for Erik ten Hag as pressure is beginning to mount on the Dutch boss following his side's slump this season.

The Red Devils resume their league campaign against Sheffield United following the international break.
