Marcus Rashford explained why he has committed his prime years to Manchester United.
Rashford has signed a new United contract, extending his stay at his boyhood club until June 30, 2028.
The forward, who has made 359 appearances and scored 123 goals for the club since making his debut in 2016, was United’s star player last term.

Indeed, last season Rashford netted 30 goals in all competitions to claim the club's Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year awards.
That return helped United secure a top-four finish and a return to the Champions League, which was reportedly a contributing factor in convincing the England international that the club is on the right path under Erik ten Hag.

As per Sky Sports News, the 25-year-old rejected more lucrative offers from England and abroad to stay at Old Trafford.
His previous contract was set to expire next summer, and Rashford claimed that it was a desire to win silverware at United that incentivised him to commit his best years there.
On the new deal Rashford told the club website: “I joined Manchester United as a seven-year-old boy with a dream. That same passion, pride, and determination to succeed still drives me every time I have the honour of wearing the shirt.
“I’ve already had some amazing experiences at this incredible club, but there is still a lot more to achieve and I remain relentlessly determined to win more trophies in the years ahead.

“As a United fan all my life, I know the responsibility that comes with representing this badge and feel the highs and lows as much as anyone. I can assure you that I will give everything to help the team reach the level we are capable of, and I can feel the same determination around the dressing room. I couldn’t be more excited for the future under this manager.”
