List of 40 'best wonderkids' The Guardian tipped to be future stars in 2014 now makes for incredible reading

A number of household names feature in The Guardian's best wonderkids in 2014.

In 2014, The Guardian put together a comprehensive list of the 40 'best wonderkids' to keep an eye out in the coming years.

The newspaper's 'Next Generation' feature is a yearly occurrence and only last year, writers shone a light on some of the most exciting youngsters born in 2006 or younger.

Stand-out names include the likes of Endrick and Warren Zaïre-Emery.

But the feature is particularly interesting to look back at previous picks and see how their careers have progressed.

And the 2014 list is no different, with a real mixed bag of talents who have achieved greatness and plenty who have not lived up to their potential.

Notable inclusions include Ousmane Dembele, Youri Tielemans, Luka Jovic, Ruben Neves and Malcom.
