Liverpool added a huge question mark to their chances of going through to the knockout stages of the Champions League after losing to Red Star Belgrade and Jurgen Klopp perfectly summed up their issues.
It seems quite a while ago now but Liverpool started their Champions League campaign this season with a win over PSG, hinting that they had what it took to go similarly as far as last season in the competition.
Things have quickly gone awry though at Anfield. The Reds were second best in Naples when they lost to a late goal against Napoli in their second game but recovered to beat Red Star 4-0 at home last month.
Jurgen Klopp's side could have put one foot in the knockout stages with a win in the reverse fixture on Wednesday night but instead found themselves embarrassed in a 2-0 loss.

Milan Povak scored a first half double, including a brilliant long range goal, and try as they might the Premier League side couldn't find a way through to equalise.
The manager might take some of the blame having chosen to rest a number of players and he had the perfect response when he was asked to name what went wrong in Serbia:
The former Borussia Dortmund manager did go further into discussing the match, including Daniel Sturridge's miss at 0-0, adding, "We had the first big chance with Daniel, a very big one,. Each goal in a game like this leads the game in a specific direction....

"We made it too easy for them. They deserved it with the passion they showed...We lost our mojo in the game, not in general. We have to make sure it doesn't happen again."
The loss does put them in a bit of trouble. They are currently on six points but if they lose away to PSG in the next round then they'll have to beat Napoli on the last day, should the Italians beat Red Star.
Liverpool wouldn't be looking forward to the prospect of facing Europa League football in the new year as they try to challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title.
