Not bad for a Stoke City player, remember when they were known for lumping it long. Xherdan Shaqiri popped up with the goal of the tournament so far when he scored a bicycle kick from the edge of the area, hitting the inside of the post and seeing the ball go on.
The goal was incredible and took Switzerland to penalties against Poland. Unfortunately it wasn't enough for the Swiss as Granit Xhaka missed his penalty and Poland scored all five of theirs to get through to the quarter final.
It won't come as much consolation to Switzerland who are now out but they are likely to pick up the goal of the tournament award.
