Harry Kane responds to Man Utd fans' 'We'll see you in June' chant, his reaction is very telling

Tottenham striker Harry Kane has responded to Manchester United supporters' attempts to get him to join the club this summer.

Kane, 29, is being strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford with his Spurs future in serious doubt amid the wider uncertainty surrounding the club.

The England international will have just one year left on his Tottenham contract at the end of the season and may finally look to move on after another season without silverware.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy faces a dilemma over whether to sell Kane this summer or risk allowing him to go into the final 12 months of his deal.

United are ready to pay up to £100m to sign the striker but Levy is reluctant to sell to a direct Premier League rival, and would prefer Kane to move abroad – if he is to leave Tottenham.

Kane came up against United in the Premier League on Thursday night, as Erik ten Hag's side were held to a 2-2 draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Spurs came from two goals down to claim a point in Ryan Mason's first match as caretaker manager since replacing Cristian Stellini, who himself was placed in interim charge of the team following Antonio Conte's departure last month.

During the game, United's travelling supporters did their best to convince Kane to move to Old Trafford, chanting: "We'll see you in June, Harry Kane, we'll see you in June."

Kane smiled when he was asked about those chants after the match, according to The Mirror.

But he also made sure to reaffirm his commitment to Tottenham - at least until the end of the season.

"I heard what they were saying but I'm just focussed on this team and trying to finish strongly," he said.

While Tottenham have struggled for consistency this season, Kane has enjoyed another excellent individual campaign.

The England striker has scored 24 goals in 33 Premier League games and is now third on the all-time top scorers list – one behind second-place Wayne Rooney and 53 behind record holder Alan Shearer.

Kane looks destined to surpass Shearer if he remains in the Premier League for the rest of his career.

But a move abroad is a possibility, with Levy more likely to sell to a foreign club.

Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have both been linked with Kane, but United remain strong favourites to sign the striker – should he leave Tottenham this summer.
