It's hard to picture the pristine white kits of Real Madrid being adorned with anything other than the three stripes of Adidas running down the sleeves. However, that could soon be a reality if reports in Spain are to be believed.
The European giants' current deal with the German sportswear brand runs until 2020 and Marca are today reporting that instead of continuing with Adidas, Real's hierarchy have reached out to Under Armour.
Any agreement with the American brand would likely be a world record deal for a kit manufacturing contract in football, trumping Manchester United's current £750m deal with Adidas, which began two years ago.

You have to go back almost 20 years to find a 'Los Blancos' team decked out in anything other than Adidas, with Jupp Heynckes' 97/98 Champions League winners resplendent in this absolute belter of a kit from Kelme.
Under Armour are most notably affiliated with New England Patriots quarter back Tom Brady, Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors, Olympic hero Michael Phelps, UFC legend George St.Pierre and The Rock. The American sportswear behemoths also manufacture kits for the World Series winning Chicago Cubs but has yet to make too big an impression in the world of football.
This season Under Armour have added Aston Villa and Southampton to their current deal with Tottenham Hotspur as they look to make more of a name for themselves in the football market, so traditionally dominated by Adidas, Nike and Puma.

It is believed Nike will also register an interest in acquiring the rights to manufacture Real's kits once Adidas' current deal with the 11 time European champions comes to an end.
