Gianluigi Buffon might well be one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time. And though he's closer to the end of his career than the beginning there's no doubt the 38 year old is still one of the best around and he proved it tonight.
On the weekend the Italian legend picked up his 350th Serie A victory, that's more than nine seasons of just winning. That's bloody impressive. But if that's good then his display in the Champions League was just as good.
Tonight the Old Lady travelled to France to take on a dangerous Lyon side in the Champions League. The Ligue 1 team were just one point behind Juve in Group H, where Sevilla led the way.

So the Serie A champions knew they couldn't afford to lose but they had Buffon to thank for not being 2-0 down. The world's most expensive goalkeeper saved a penalty in the first half before another world class save:
