Ryan Gravenberch sends Bayern Munich blunt warning amid Liverpool and Man Utd interest

Ryan Gravenberch sends Bayern Munich blunt warning amid Liverpool and Man Utd interest

He's been linked with a move to the Premier League.

Ryan Gravenberch has sent a blunt warning to Bayern Munich as he continues to be linked with a move away from the German club.

Gravenberch, 20, joined Bayern in a £16m move from Ajax last summer, with the Bundesliga side beating English clubs to his signature.

But the Netherlands international has struggled to make an impact since moving to Bavaria.

Gravenberch has played just 348 minutes in the Bundesliga this season, with all but one of his 19 league appearances coming from the bench.

A number of Premier League teams have been linked with a summer move for the midfielder, including Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal.

Liverpool have reportedly held 'positive' talks with Gravenberch's representatives over a move to Merseyside after his agent Rafaela Pimenta was spotted at Anfield earlier this season.

Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna has also claimed Gravenberch would be keen to reunite with Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.

Gravenberch broke into the Ajax team under Ten Hag and it is claimed that the player and manager 'would be happy to work together again' at Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are believed to be keeping tabs on the midfielder as a potential alternative to their No 1 midfield target, West Ham captain Declan Rice.

Gravenberch sends Bayern Munich warning

Bayern are reportedly reluctant to let Gravenberch leave after just one season at the Allianz Arena but the midfielder may look to force a move.

Speaking to Voetbal International, Gravenberch warned Bayern over his lack of game time this season.

"Training and playing at the top level for a year is beautiful and instructive. Although playing, it is mainly training," he said.

"That has to change next season, then I really want to play weekly again.

“I haven't spoken to the club management yet, so just wait and see what happens.

"But it is clear that this role does not match my expectations."

It remains to be seen whether he will be given a more important role next season, or if Bayern will look to cash in this summer.
