Arsenal Could Come Up Against A Familiar Face When They Play Bayern

Arsenal and Bayern lock horns next month...

Arsenal already have the daunting task of facing Bayern Munich in the Champions League next month but they could also come up against a familiar face too.

The Gunners take on the Bavarian giants in the last-16 of the competition, with the first leg taking place in Germany.

And it seems there's every chance Serge Gnabry could be a Bayern player before the February 15 fixture.

After failing to break into the Arsenal first-team, Gnabry left north London last summer for Werder Bremen for £4.5 million, and since then he's gone on to score a hat-trick on his debut for the senior Germany side.

And according to the Evening Standard, Bayern are keeping a close eye on the 21-year-old, and could make a move for him before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.

Gnabry's sensational form at the Olympics last summer, as well as his eye-catching performances in the Bundesliga last season, have probably left Arsene Wenger wondering if he'd regret letting the winger slip through his fingers.

He probably had no idea he could be regretting it so soon.

Could Gnabry make the grade at Bayern?
