Arsenal are said to be making moves to find a replacement for key man Santi Cazorla sooner rather than later.
The former Malaga man has been sidelined after undergoing surgery on his right ankle at the start of December and he has not featured since October.
Arsenal have struggled in parts without the Spaniard, who gives the Gunners a much better rhythm and tempo when he is in the side.

But it's clear that at 32, he won't be at Arsenal forever and the club are already said to be eyeing up a Cazorla replacement in the form of Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic.
The Bosnian only moved to Juventus from Roma in the summer but Emanuele Giulianelli from The Sun is reporting that Arsene Wenger has made contact with Pjanic and posed the question about whether he would like to join Arsenal.
The former Lyon man is said to be keen but Juventus are surely in no position to sell, especially after losing out on China-bound Axel Witsel.

However, the report says that Arsenal could test Juve's resolve with a £28 million bid.
Pjanic, an incredibly gifted central midfielder player, would have no problem fitting in with Arsenal's possession game.
He joined Juventus for €32 million euros in the summer after a five-year spell with Serie A rivals Roma.
