Stoke City forward Bojan Krkic has been linked with a move to Aitor Karanka's Middlesbrough after growing frustrated under Mark Hughes.

The 26-year old has made 12 appearances in all competitions this season but he has only played a full game on one occasion this term, that coming early in the season in a 4-1 thumping at the hands of Manchester City.

And some reports have claimed that the former Barcelona starlet could be Middlesbrough-bound, with TV and Radio presenter Jonty Sargeant, who provides commentary for Staffordshire-based Radio station Signal 2, saying that Bojan to Middlesbrough is happening for a dirt cheap fee of around £7-8 million.

These reports are unconfirmed but it would certainly be a real steal for Middlesbrough if they can land him for the reported fee.

Boro have struggled for goals this season and are just three four points above the relegation zone. Their top scorer this season is Alvaro Negredo, who has netted six times.

Karanka has made moves to improve their firepower in attack with the signing of Rudy Gestede for around £6 million.

And though it's just rumours at this point, the potential addition of Bojan would bring an extra bit of creativity to the team.

It's fair to say that Stoke fans aren't too pleased about rumours that he could be heading to another Premier League club.
