Antonio Conte prepares his Chelsea side as they visit Manchester City pitting the table toppers against the third place side in a crunch lunchtime Premier League fixture. And ahead of the game the Italian boss revealed a mistake committed by the club.

Lining up against his former side will be Belgium playmaker Kevin De Bruyne and Conte confessed his admiration for the ex-Chelsea man.

While claiming it's a "pity" that the club no longer have his services. De Bruyne was shipped off by Jose Mourinho to Wolfsburg before eventually winding up back in England.

A whopping £58 million transfer led to the 25-year-old once again strutting his stuff in the Premier League and it's a mistake being rued by Conte.

"De Bruyne played with Chelsea and is a really great player. It's a pity he's playing for the other team."

De Bruyne's exploits for City has seen him garner plenty attention including that of Conte who is an avid admirer of the creative midfielder;

"For sure. He is a fanatic player. But now he is playing for Manchester City. I wish for him the best - but after the game."

Before finishing by saying; "I wish the best for him after our game."

What a game to kick-off the Premier League weekend!
