Chelsea Massively Missed N'Golo Kante In The Community Shield Final, Fans React

Chelsea really, really missed N'Golo Kante in the middle of the park against Manchester City in the Community Shield final.

Maurizio Sarri selected Cesc Fabregas, Ross Barkley and summer signing Jorginho in midfield, with Kante unavailable following his excursions with France at the World Cup.

But Chelsea missed their diminutive figure as Manchester City beat Chelsea 2-0 at a sun-soaked Wembley Stadium.

Even though he wasn't playing, his name was all over social media.

He wasn't the only player Chelsea missed.

The 2017 FA Cup winners lacked attacking intent with Eden Hazard also unavailable.

Anyway, Sarri has a few more days left to do any business before the transfer window slams shut.

His side open their Premier League campaign against Huddersfield on Saturday.
