AS Monaco's 18-year old forward has created quite the reputation for himself this season and did his reputation no harm at all with a mature performance against Manchester City on Tuesday, scoring a well-taken goal in the 5-3 thriller.

He's already drew the inevitable comparisons with Thierry Henry as well as another Monaco youth product in Anthony Martial and has a whole host of Europe's elite queuing up for his signature.

According to The Independent, Borussia Dortmund, Barcelona and Real Madrid are all taking an interest in Mbappe and he's also caught the eye of several Premier League clubs.

Manchester City saw what he was all about on Tuesday up close and personal at the Etihad, but along with neighbours Manchester United, they have been tracking him for some time.

As per Jack Pitt-Brooke, both City and Arsenal tried to sign Mbappe in the summer window - with City prepared to pay around £40 million for him.

But given his 11 goals and enhanced reputation this season, Monaco would look for a significantly higher fee this summer.

The consensus is that they would command even more than the £57.6 million they will receive from Manchester United for Anthony Martial, should add-ons and clauses come into play.

Monaco's alumni XI would be something special, much like Lille's best XI had they not sold their players.

They would look for a basic fee of £50 million, with the overall deal likely to reach close to £75 million with add-ons.

He's seen as the next big thing in France and should his form continue, his stock will only rise.

What a talent in the making he is.
