Is Steve Howey's Predicted Manchester City XI For 2016/17 Season A Joke?

We've stumbled across some pretty wild predictions in the past when it comes to football but former Manchester City defender Steve Howey has well and truly triumphed every single one of those by a country mile.

According to Howey, who made over 100 appearances for the club, Andres Iniesta, Paul Pogba, Gareth Bale, David Alaba, Antoine Griezmann and Raphael Varane could have all signed for the blue half of Manchester this summer.

WHAT?

We know Manchester City have a pile of money at their disposal Steve, but this is just crazy.

Pep Guardiola has been productive in this summer's transfer window, but not that productive.

The former Barcelona and Bayern boss has added John Stones, Ilkay Gundogan, Nolito and Leroy Sane to Manchester City's squad in recent weeks as they look to embark on another successful Premier League campaign.

Unfortunately for Steve Howey, the above predicted XI hasn't quite materialised.
