WATCH: Wayne Rooney Embarrassingly Nutmegged Twice In 10 Seconds

Manchester United's pre-season tour of China could probably be going better for Wayne Rooney - after the club's captain was nutmegged twice in the space of a few seconds earlier today.

The Red Devils are currently in the Far East, where they are taking part in various open training sessions as well as friendly games against Borussia Dortmund and arch rivals Man City.

But judging by this clip for earlier today at Shanghai Stadium, Rooney won't be playing either game, because he'll be in a darkened room trying to figure out where his career went wrong:

Absolutely brutal, eh?

It looks like the Dutch duo of Memphis Depay and Daley Blind who were the perpetrators and they're just lucky it was Rooney and not the club's other striker they did it to - can you imagine Zlatan reacting well to a double nutmeg?
