What a time is it be to a Wolves fan. Has there ever been a club that's just been promoted and looks so frightfully strong?
It might be the only time in which a newly-promoted side should be looking at a top ten finish, not just merely surviving.
Last season, the Midlands side stormed the Championship, winning it by a canter. And in this transfer window, they have been busy, to say the least. They have brought in an influx of talent into the fold, admittedly mostly players of the Portuguese persuasion.
But now, if it were at all possible, it's just about to get better for Wolves. They have smashed their own transfer record.

They have reportedly bought Adama Traore off Middlesbrough for a record £18 million, according to the Telegraph - what could be seen by some as peanuts in today's market, but a real statement of intent by Wolves, a club whose heyday was back in the 1950s.
With the influx of new and exciting clubs coming into the Premier League and spending big, one thing that is for sure is that the relegation battle will be one of the toughest ever.

Last season there was the title-race, the fight for Europe and then the tussle for relegation. We should expect more of the same.
