As students flock to city's and towns across the country beginning or resuming their university education, if you happen to study sports management at De Montfort University in Leicester you'll get a surprise class mate this term.
Because former Manchester United favourite Park Ji-Sung is among the dozens of new students starting the course at DMU.
The midfield workhorse enjoyed a very successful playing career before retiring in 2014, winning the Premier League and Champions League, not to mention captaining his country during the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Despite reaching some of football's pinnacle moments, Park has a desire to improve his knowledge of football 'around the pitch' by working with academics.
Speaking to the uni, the 35-year-old got the idea through a recommendation from a colleague. "One of my colleagues said it had been a great experience and though many players go into coaching or management, I wanted to improve my knowledge of football around the pitch and then perhaps work in the South Korean football league."
His Old Trafford career span from 2005 to 2012 but never had the opportunity to play against Leicester City yet was amazed by their Premier League triumph last season.

"What happened to Leicester City was amazing and showed the way football can bring hope to people. Playing in the Champions League is a great experience and may even spur Leicester to play at a higher level."
The year-long course will see the South Korean venture across Leicester, Milan, Italy and Neuchâtel, Switzerland, attracting students from across the globe, which will only enhance the footballing knowledge. If his playing career is anything to go by expect Park to tirelessly work away in the Library.
