It was a frustrating night for Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo, as the European champions were held to a 3-3 draw by Legia Warsaw in the Polish Army Stadium, last night.
For Ronaldo in particular the game proved to be an excruciating 90 minutes, with the Portugal captain failing to find the back of the net, with his 100th European goal so perilously close.
Those frustrations could now land the Madrid forward in a spot of trouble with UEFA after he was caught on camera appearing to stamp on a Legia player:

The Legia 'keeper did appeal to the referee after seeing Ronaldo step on his teammate, but no booking or foul was awarded. Retroactive punishment could still be handed out, though.
Real's blushes were spared in the dying minutes by a Mateo Kovacic strike after Legia had produced a stirring comeback to lead 3-2, having trailed 2-1 following strikes from Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema.
