Apparently, N'Golo Kante is bit of a cheat when it comes to card games. He's since reacted to such claim in brilliant fashion.

The diminutive Frenchman is like a cheat code on the pitch because it's like having two players in the middle of the park with his tireless work rate.

Through his heroics, he's bagged back-to-back Premier League titles for Leicester City then Chelsea. Not to mention winning the World Cup in the summer.

And while representing France in Russia, Kante was accused of being a cheat at card games by his international colleagues.

He was quizzed by reporters following France's victory against the Netherlands on Sunday night.

"I'm not a cheat [at card games]. I'm a competitor and those who lose like to give others a bad rap," he said.

The 2018 World Cup winners played their first game at home since raising gold in Moscow. They beat the Netherlands 2-1 thanks to goals from Kylian Mbappe and a stunning strike courtesy of Olivier Giroud's boot.

Naturally, it was a party atmosphere in Paris which included Benjamin Mendy leading a Kante chant.

The French squad surrounded Kante and sang his song along with 80,000 fans in amazing scenes.

What is the Kanté song?

Well, these are the fantastic lyrics to it: "N'Golo Kanté, pala lalala, he's short, he's nice, he stopped Leo Messi, but we all know he's a cheater, N'Golo Kanté."

It must have been an incredible moment for the 27-year-old, especially for the thousands of fans in the stadium who were singing along.
