You could forgive Arsenal fans for hearing a story that starts with Jack Wilshere putting on a pair of skates and heading onto an ice rink and immediately predicting that the tale ends with the England international being rushed to hospital in an ambulance with both his arms and legs in plaster and a brace around his neck.
Yet this wasn't the case and Wilshere instead made light of the injury problems that have marred his career over the last few years with a light hearted Twitter post.

Wilshere was once considered to be one of the most promising young players in the Premier League before a series of injuries derailed his career. After a loan spell at Bournemouth was cut short by a knee injury last season, Wilshere has returned to the Gunners but has made just three appearances in the Premier League, this term.
The 25-year-old midfielder may not want to make a habit of visiting ice rinks too much just before a period where his club have nine games in less than a month. Arsene Wenger will be having kittens.
