Just weeks after Nemanja Matic had to run away from Willian after he tried to read a note sent to him by manager Jose Mourinho, the internet is trying to work out what was written on another piece of paper.

If you didn't catch the game last month, substitute Eric Bailly came on in the 80th minute armed with a note.

Bailly proceeded to pass this mysterious note to midfielder Matic and a cheeky Willian decided try his luck and take a sneak peak at the message.

Well, the notes are back and during the first half of Manchester United's Premier League tie against Liverpool on Saturday afternoon, the Sky cameras panned towards Mourinho, who was seen furiously penning notes on the touchline.

Seconds later, he lifted the note pad to reveal a bunch of scribbles and people on social media discussed what was really on the paper.

Marcus Rashford bagged twice at Old Trafford as United produced an entertaining first half against their bitter rivals, and many suggested the note was about the England international.

Sit back, relax and witness some incredible memes.

This is why we love the internet:

Thoughts on the game this afternoon? Should Jose Mourinho have taken Rashford off in the second half?
