Speculation was rife this morning that Zlatan would be completing his free transfer at some point on Friday, with a medical rumoured to be taking place at United's Carrington training complex.

And just around the time Zlatan would be arriving in Manchester to finalise the deal, a rather inconspicuous-looking helicopter was landing somewhere around the grounds of the Red Devils' iconic stadium:
