Gareth Bale is currently being paid £300,000 a week at Real Madrid and that doesn't even include the money made from his sponsorship deals.
The amount of money in today's game is absolutely incredible and the Welsh international proved money was no problem when he proposed to his girlfriend Emma Rhys-Jones.

According to reports from AS, Bale proposed to his girlfriend on an island he hired for an eye-watering £390,000. The island is located in the Balearics close to Ibiza and thankfully, she said yes.
