Poor Jerome Boateng. The Bayern Munich centre-back was well and truly sat down by Liverpool's Gini Wijnaldum for Netherlands' third goal against Germany last night.
Dutch skipper Virgil van Dijk bagged the opener in the 3-0 win, former Manchester United man Memphis Depay continued his resurgence with a goal in the 86th minute and then Wijnaldum fully mugged off the 2014 world champions in stoppage time.
Die Mannschaft, who are now scoreless in their last three competitive games, lost out in midfield and when the ball was picked up by Wijnaldum, the Liverpool No.5 did Boateng very dirty before slotting home the third past Manuel Neuer.

It was a familiar sight for the former Manchester City man, who was famously embarrassed by Lionel Messi in the Champions League semi-final in 2015 - becoming an internet meme in the process.
Ankles well and truly broken, with Boateng falling flat on his arse after the former Newcastle man's swift change of direction sent him packing.

Then again, what else would you expect from a man who can make a ball appear out of nowhere?
The big win for the Dutch at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam was their first over Germany for 16 years and sees the pressure to continue to mount on Joachim Low, who has seen his team lose five of their last nine games.
