Jose Mourinho To Drop Two Stars For Chelsea Clash

Jose Mourinho makes his first return to Stamford Bridge as Manchester United manager tomorrow and already appears to have made a big decision on his team selection.

Both Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Wayne Rooney are not believed to have travelled with the United squad to London.

It is not yet clear what the reasons are behind Mourinho's decision to not include the pair in his matchday squad, although Mkhitaryan has been struggling with fitness since he arrived at Old Trafford. Rooney meanwhile, has been benched several times by Mourinho this season due to his poor form, but started against Fenerbahce on Thursday during United's 4-1 Europa League victory and didn't pick up any injury of note.

More will likely be revealed by Mourinho tomorrow, although if Rooney isn't injured, dropping the club captain from the squad altogether is a big call from the United boss.
