Things at Wolfsburg turned pretty sour for Nicklas Bendtner before the former Arsenal player was released from his contract. And now without a club it looks like the striker is working hard to keep his fitness up, helped by an Arsenal and a Leicester City player.
Bendtner caused controversy at his former club, not least when he turned up to the Volkswagen owned club's training in a Mercedes car, something that is banned by the club and in the players' contracts, with the striker picking up a fine.
The arrogant forward only started four Bundesliga games last season for Wolfsburg and was linked with a move to China before being released from the club and is now looking to move onto pastures new and revealed on Instagram he's being helped to keep fit by former teammate Kieran Gibbs and Premier League champion Danny Simpson.
The former Juventus loanee is clearly looking to get his career back on track after three difficult years with Wolfsburg and he'll need to put in a lot of hard work if he is to get near to fulfilling the potential he showed as a youngster.
