Barcelona striker Luis Suarez has already accomplished a whole lot of things in the game of football.

He's won two La Liga titles, the Eredivisie, the Champions League, the FIFA Club World Cup, the League Cup, the Copa America and multiple individual accolades such as the European Golden Shoe, the Premier League top scorer, the Player of the Season in two countries and the Copa America player of the tournament.

Yet the 29-year old still has one ambition in football that he wishes to fulfil and it involves his boyhood club Nacional.

Suarez played just 27 times in his native Uruguay and it was clear he was destined to play at a much higher level and he has done exactly that.

Although he committed his future to Barcelona by signing a contract extension, he does want to return to Nacional at some point down the line and his target is to win the coveted Copa Libertadores with the club.

Speaking to Uruguayan TV show 'El Espectador', Suarez said:

"I wish I could have spent more time playing in the Nacional shirt.

To play a full Copa Libertadores with Nacional remains an objective of mine, and I still have time to do it."

Suarez's new Barca contract will keep him at the club until 2021. He will be 34-years old by the time his contract is due to expire but there's every chance he'd still tear it up for Nacional.
