Marko Arnautovic was overheard teasing Kyle Walker over 'It's Coming Home' at a Premier League launch event.

England were agonisingly close to a World Cup final with Gareth Southgate's young, hungry charges reaching the semi-final before being dumped out by Croatia, who eventually lost to France.

England fever swept the country as 'It's Coming Home' became the unofficial anthem.

The iconic song galvanized England who ultimately overachieved in Russia.

But not everyone liked the tune including Austrian international Arnautovic who apparently took the p**s out of Walker.

According to The Times: "West Ham United's Marko Arnautovic was overheard teasing Kyle Walker, with the Austria striker telling the Manchester City defender that one of the reasons England did not win the tournament was that their fans got carried away by singing the song during the group stages."

Meanwhile, the West Ham star is delighted with the players his team has drafted in during the summer transfer window.

"We have some great signings," Arnautovic said via Evening Standard.

"They are hungry guys who want to come and show themselves in the toughest league, the Premier League, it's a very hard league.

"The gaffer has changed a lot here, he wants us to play from the back, no long balls and chasing balls, we have to defend our balls but we have to defend our goal properly first then we go forward.

"I hope I will score more than 11, I will start from the first game. I was not happy at the start of last season, more disappointed than anyone else. I am fit, ready and hungry for the next season."

West Ham begin their Premier League campaign against Liverpool on Sunday.

How will Manuel Pellegrini's lads fare in the new season?
